The latest addition of Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream is coming to Cinco Ranch; the newest Scoop Shop is located at 23660 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, Texas 77494. The world’s #1 ice cream brand by National Geographic is hosting a Grand Opening event on August 10 from 11 am to 10 pm. The franchise owners, Matt and Alexis Wiseman, are thrilled to lead this new location and provide a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere for the community to indulge in their delectable homemade ice cream.
The first 50 people in line will receive free ice cream for a year during the Grand Opening event. Additionally, guests can enjoy balloon twisting and have a chance to win other exciting prizes and giveaways.
“We were thrilled about entering the Houston market for several reasons. Firstly, there is ample opportunity for growth in this market. Secondly, we have heard excellent feedback about Cinco Ranch and are very excited to relocate our family here,” said Matt Wiseman, Co-owner of the Cinco Ranch Handel’s. “My family and I have had numerous experiences with Handel’s, and my brother is currently a franchisee in Utah. After discussing it at length, we decided to embark on a new adventure in Texas, as it seemed like the perfect fit for us. We are thrilled to get started!”
Matt and Alexis Wiseman and their five children previously lived in Utah, Idaho, and California for the past eight years before settling in Cinco Ranch. The family is excited to collaborate with Handel’s and establish a presence in a thriving market. They are eager to become part of the community and create a family business their children can participate in.

The Cinco Ranch Handel’s boasts a 1945 sq ft space and will feature local flavors, including Peach, Black Cherry, Coffee Chocolate Chip, Graham Central Station, Oree-Dough, Salty Caramel Truffle, and more. The location will also offer pickup, delivery, and catering.
The Cinco Ranch Handel’s store will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
