Official Milk Partners will support BlueCross Bowl with high-performance chocolate milk.
CHATTANOOGA, TN, November 29, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Dairy Alliance, a leader promoting awareness of the nutritional and wellness benefits of dairy milk, and Tennessee Dairy Farm Families have joined forces with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) to fuel up student athletes this fall. Together, the pair have designated Tennessee Milk as the Official Milk Partner for high school sports championships. This partnership officially kicked off on October 14th and encompasses a wide range of high school events throughout Tennessee this fall, with highlights including the BlueCross Bowl starting on November 30, 2023.
“We are excited to continue demonstrating our support for high school athletes throughout the Southeast, particularly for the Tennessee football state championships,” said Geri Berdak, Chief Executive Officer at The Dairy Alliance. “As advocates for the nutritional and wellness advantages of dairy milk, we recognize the dedication of these student-athletes who tirelessly balance academics and sports. We look forward to providing dairy milk’s pure goodness and high-quality protein to these students with the support of Tennessee Dairy Farm Families.”
The BlueCross Bowl will take place at Finley Stadium at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The football championships will begin on Thursday, November 30, and wrap up on Saturday, December 2. Throughout all three days, Tennessee Dairy Farm Families, The Dairy Alliance, and Mayfield Dairy will be on-site, providing competing athletes with refreshing chocolate milk.
Real milk stands as a high-performance protein fuel for athletes, providing 8 grams of natural, high-quality protein per every 8-ounce serving, which helps individuals build muscle, stay active, and recover. It provides 13 essential nutrients, including calcium, vitamin D, and potassium – three nutrients often under consumed by children ages 2-18 years of age.
