New Nonprofit Aims to Revolutionize Access to Mental Health Resources for Everyone
PASADENA, CA, May 04, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Compassionate Transformation Community (CTC), a minority-led nonprofit organization, launches with its mission to promote and serve the community with love and compassionate-led services. CTC was born out of the urgent need for healing in a society riddled with mass shootings and high levels of burnout in critical professions like medicine and education. As healers, CTC’s members are committed to using their skills and knowledge to both provide direct healing services and empower individuals to learn to heal themselves.
CTC offers various programs and services, including workshops, classes, and events that promote self-care, holistic healing, and personal growth for all, regardless of income. The organization also provides resources and support for individuals seeking alternative or complementary therapies and treatments.
“We are excited to launch Compassionate Transformation Community and provide individuals the tools and resources to cultivate healing and wellness in their lives,” said Chair and Acupuncture professor at Alhambra Medical University, Winnie Chan Wang. “Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone can access the support they need to thrive.”
The organization’s Founder and Executive Director is Jonathan Jay Dubois, Ph.D. (Anthropology, UC Riverside 2017), and board members include Winnie Chan Wang, Howie Leang, Jason Gong, and Altimese Nichole, each of whom brings unique expertise and a passion for promoting healing and wellness.
