AUSTIN, TX, October 20, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Distance Learning Media, LLC is proud to announce VetBizWeek, a week-long series of free virtual entrepreneurial training sessions to be held during National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW) October 30 through November 3, 2023.

The series of 60 to 90-minute training sessions will cover practical, trending topics for business skills in marketing, bookkeeping, artificial intelligence, small business funding options and cybersecurity.

The series will kick-off on Monday, Oct 30 with a welcome message on how the SBA is assisting veteran entrepreneurs by featured guest speaker, Mark Madrid, Associate Administrator, U.S. Small Business Administration. That brief presentation will be followed by the first of eight virtual afternoon classes on trending entrepreneurial topics, scheduled throughout the week.

All VetBizWeek sessions are facilitated by seasoned instructors from military and first responder families with real-world experience running their own successful small businesses.

With each class, participants will gain access to an interactive toolkit with helpful resources, guides, templates, eBooks, software, and more. “We are excited to offer this series of free virtual training sessions to veterans and their families,” said CJ Niehoff, Co-Founder and COO of Distance Learning Media and Director of the firm’s veteran-focused division, Skills After Service. “We always give a toolkit with our classes because it’s not enough to just give people information. This free online portal will provide a national forum and networking group for vet-led small businesses to share ideas, cross-marketing, referrals, visibility and more.

The new Skills After Service Community is open to any veteran, active-duty military, reserves, first responders and any military or first responder family members who own or operate a small business or nonprofit. “Those just getting started are also invited to participate.
